Beware the Kremulakian Invasion

This may be the funniest thing I've read in a long time. (Tell me again why Iowahawk wasn't even nominated for Best Humor Blog?) I triple dog dare you to read through it without breaking out into uproarious, teary-eyed laughter. And that's saying a lot, as I also have been perusing through this book recently. … [Read more...]

Amendments 47, 49, & 54 Good as Grandma’s Freshly-Baked Cookies

Update: Link added below First, there was the real-life absurd "Godzilla" flyer created by Protect Colorado's Future. Then the Denver Metro Young Republicans fired back with the "Kittens for Amendments 47, 49, and 54" ad - famously featured in the sidebar of today's Rocky Mountain News print edition Rocky Mountain News Stump blog. To keep the spirit alive, here's my own contribution to the cause: *WARNING* Satire *WARNING* Satire *WARNING* … [Read more...]

Fraudulent ACORN’s Fallout: How Far From Barack Obama’s Campaign Tree?

Update: From Michelle Malkin, more compelling information on ACORN fraudulent activity, plus federal judge calls out Ohio secretary of state for election law violations... If you haven't been paying attention, it's time to tune in to the story of the Democratic presidential candidate (Barack Obama), widespread voting fraud (ACORN), and detestable past actions that fed the current financial crisis. Are you with me so far? I don't need to retread all the facts because so many others already have. Let's start with this editorial in Investor's Business Daily:A radical group Barack Obama used to work for is committing voter-registration fraud in several states, ahead of the election. What does Obama know about this scam? It goes … [Read more...]

Dispelling Obama Rumors

I needed a good laugh tonight, so it was good to see Frank J. at IMAO performing the service of dispelling rumors about Barack Obama (H/T Jenn Sierra). Here are the first few to whet your appetite:RUMOR: Obama is a Muslim. STATUS: False Obama is not currently a Muslim. He's a Christian of some sort in the "hate Whitey" sect. RUMOR: Obama is an enlightened space alien sent to save humanity. STATUS: False All evidence points towards Obama being a below average man who his wife stopped asking to do chores around the house because he was always getting his head stuck in the mop bucket. RUMOR: Obama tried to bomb the Pentagon. STATUS: False That was his friend. Satire. I needed that. … [Read more...]

Iowahawk Attacks Negative Political Campaign Tactics

The master satirist Iowahawk speaks out against negative campaigning in the Democratic presidential primary with zingers like this one:As participants in the American democratic process, both sides of this increasingly bitter intra-party feud should know better. Just because someone associated with your opponent's campaign might at this very minute be circulating a story that your candidate is a white supremacist lesbian child molester, does that mean you automatically have to counter it with stories about their candidate running a Chicago sex slave-for-crack ring with R. Kelly and the Syrian mafia? Come on folks, your campaigns are better than that, even if it is clear to everybody that the other guys started it. A little word for the … [Read more...]
