Just How Hard for Scott McInnis to Find His Way to the Governor’s Office?

Update, 10/5: At least one person has informed me they received a message with the incorrect address, followed more than a day later by a message with the correct address. As long as everyone can find the shining golden dome downtown.... Did anyone else out there get a robocall this weekend from the Scott McInnis for Governor campaign, announcing a Monday event kicking off a statewide tour? Say what? That would be only about five blocks off. I know that the early success of primary rival Josh Penry may have thrown McInnis off track a bit, but … [Read more...]

R.I.P. Patrick Swayze, Defender of Colorado from the Red Army Invasion

News came down this evening that Patrick Swayze succumbed to his battle with pancreatic cancer and died at the age of 57. We Coloradans especially can be grateful for his heroic vigilante service in the early years of World War Three. The 30-something high schooler and his brave band just may have provided the morale needed to ultimately turn the tide in our favor. Then again, the Red Army's decision to dedicate so much resources to taking over a rural town and school may have factored in somewhere as well: … [Read more...]

Another Case of Jane Norton Deja Vu?

Yesterday the official news finally rolled out that Jane Norton is getting into the U.S. Senate race. Today one case of deja vu follows another. Norton of course is most well-known for running on the 2002 Bill Owens statewide ticket and serving as lieutenant governor during his second term. So (thanks to an astute reader who brought it to my attention) I guess this similarity is more than just a mere coincidence: … [Read more...]
