Introducing the detailed release of results from our January edition of the Survey of Colorado’s Political Temperature (click “Fullscreen” for best view):
January 2010 Colorado’s Political Temperature Survey Results
Thanks again to everyone who participated. And congratulations to our candidate winners this time around: Dan Maes, Ken Buck, Cory Gardner, Ryan Frazier and J.J. Ament.
Our plan is to work on some limited cross-tab analysis of these results. If you have any interest in any particular cross-tab (e.g., how did people vote in a particular race by age group?), please email me or leave the suggestions in the comment box by Tuesday night.

Dan Maes actively recruited people to participate in your poll. So did Ken Buck. Both on FaceBook, probably on Twitter and in meetings.
Did Norton and McInnis ask supporters to take your survey?
How legit are your results if candidates are stacking the polls?
Ben says
We do our best to notify all the candidates and give them equal opportunity to promote participation in the survey. If candidates think it gives them an advantage to do so, if they think it benefits them to win the survey, they are much more likely to promote it. If not, that’s fine.
We are glad to keep interest focused on the races and the issues. The non-scientific poll disclaimer is on there.

I found the poll on my own and was not solicited by Mr. Maes. He has just completed traveling 45,000 around Colorado. Those of us who know Dan personally, fully support his running. Get to know him before you vote. This could and should be the year for the small guy. We are tired of politics as usual.

It is great to observe the people actually debating and having dialogue over the candidates and not just going along with what Washington DC was pushing or rubber stamping 4 their insider special interests. Great to see everyone rolling up their sleeves and working hard to save their communities, State and Nation.
