You mean there isn’t a Democrat “surge” in Colorado and the Rocky Mountain West? Our state isn’t turning purple? Sshh, Stuart Rothenburg. You’re supposed to let our Democrats continue to operate under the delusion that they’re on the verge of a major political realignment, rather than the beneficiary of a confluence of fortunate events in the past couple elections.
With Ritter, Romanoff, and the Democrats already overplaying their hand, the pendulum has started swinging back where it belongs. In the meantime, let’s hope the damage is minimal.

I was wondering about your take on Mark Paschall. I was at an Independence Institute event a couple of years ago and had a lengthy conversation with him in your office about education and why I was a member of CEA. He postured himself as a God fearing staunch supporter of charter schools and like yourself ardently opposed to unions of any sort. He came across as a jerk to me but seemed real chummy with the I.I. staff. What is your impression of him? Oh and I hear Rob Corry has been sentenced to 60 days in jail and five years’ probation. What’s the deal with that? Isn’t he the husband of Jessica Corry from the I.I.? I thought I read a while back he did legal work for you guys?
Full Disclosure: I am no longer a teacher in District 12 but one of the “union bosses” you love to rail against.

I’m clueless about trackback. Linking is easier. I give my take on this post here.

Fran, if you find your ideas and agendas vindicated by the personal failings of a handful of your philosophical opponents, then you are more misguided than I thought. I will not be dragged into that kind of discourse.
